Scenes from South Carolina: Recent Graduate Grateful for Red Cross

Tyler Farr, a '16 graduate of Cane Bay High School and first year cadet at The Citadel, had volunteered in high school for a number of organizations. Just a few weeks ago Tyler donated blood for the first time during a Red Cross blood drive at The Citadel but this is his first time stepping foot in a Red Cross shelter.  He stopped with friends, his mother, and brother, to donate supplies and saw how the Red Cross is caring for people as Hurricane Matthew approaches the coast of South Carolina. 

"When I was walking down the hallway, I was so grateful that people have a safe place to go."
